£4 million will be invested in Birmingham parks over the next 12 months – including here in Birmingham Ladywood.

The funding is supported by a range of funding sources including Section 106, Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) and other external funding streams.

This includes new park developments, biodiversity enhancements, and community-led greening initiatives.

Below are active projects currently underway in Ladywood:

• £88k – Moonlit & Sunset Parks improvements
• £65k – Key Hill Cemetery
• £83k – Ledsom Street Play Area
• £54k – Eastside Park enhancements
• £222,210 – CIL for parks in Balsall Heath West, Bordesley & Highgate, and Nechells wards
