Shabana has visited Teamworks Karting in the heart of her Birmingham Ladywood constituency.
Teamworks is home to youth employability workshops, mentoring sessions, and prevention work.
During her visit Shabana met with young people attending a programme aimed at tackling rising knife crime and street violence.
Shabana also took to the track at Teamworks with young people and employees.
Speaking in Digbeth after the visit, Shabana said:
Teamworks isn’t just about burning rubber, they’re also putting Birmingham’s young people in pole position to secure their next job.
They’re doing this all in an environment that allows a little fun along the way. Thanks to the team for having me.
