Shabana has welcomed major investment in Birmingham as applications open for the Pride in Place Impact Fund.
The Government is delivering £1.5million in funding for neighbourhood projects in Birmingham through the fund.
The money can be spent on revitalising high streets, bringing community spaces back into use.
Community groups, charities, social enterprises, local businesses, and resident associations are encouraged to apply.
Applications are open until 1st Feb 2026.
Speaking as the fund is launched, Shabana Mahmood said:
I promised to be Birmingham’s voice at the heart of government and it’s a Labour government delivering this huge investment in our city.
I would encourage community groups and residents who want to make a change in their neighbourhood to apply.
