Shabana has highlighted the government’s work to tackle High Street crime in a visit to shops in Birmingham.
In a visit with Liam Byrne MP, Shabana visited a corner shop, a chemists, and a hardware shop.
Shopkeepers raised concerns about antisocial behaviour and shoplifting in their stores.
Shabana also spoke about the ‘dodgy’ shops operated by criminal gangs putting hardworking shopkeepers out of business and changing the High Street.
